๐ŸŒ Could your institution host the 2028 IAPS Conference?

The IAPS Board has officially opened the call for organisations to bid to host the next international conference in 2028 โ€” and the deadline for initial expressions of interest is 20 May 2026.

With this year’s conference in Surrey just around the corner, now is the perfect time to start thinking about whether your institution could be the next home of our wonderful community of researchers.

Why bid to host? Hosting an IAPS conference is a rare opportunity to put your institution on the international map, connect with a global network of researchers, and actively shape the future of the field.

The process runs in two stages:

๐Ÿ“Œ Stage 1 โ€” Expression of Interest (deadline: 20 May 2026) Submit a brief outline covering your proposed theme, venue, institutional ties, organisational capacity, and any planned innovations such as hybrid or streaming provision.

๐Ÿ“Œ Stage 2 โ€” Full Proposal (deadline: 15 June 2026) Shortlisted groups submit a detailed proposal including dates, budget, keynote suggestions, student provisions, and sponsorship plans. Successful candidates will be announced at the AGM.
