🚀 A Historical Repository for Environmental Psychology! 📚✨

Environmental psychology has a rich history, and efforts to document its evolution are more important than ever. That’s why Lindsay McCunn, PhD from Vancouver Island University (VIU) is leading the development of a Historical Repository for Environmental Psychology (HREP)—a new initiative aimed at preserving key documents, artifacts, and academic materials related to the field.

With support from a recent grant, this project will archive letters, books, photographs, manuscripts, and correspondence from scholars worldwide. VIU’s library has dedicated space for this collection, and its staff will assist in cataloging, applying DOIs, and ensuring these valuable materials remain accessible for future generations.

Many scholars have already contributed, and the response has been overwhelmingly positive! If you or someone you know has materials that could help document the history and development of environmental psychology, we would love to hear from you. Funding is available to assist with shipping costs for physical contributions.

🔗 Please feel free to share this post with colleagues who may have relevant materials. Let’s work together to build a lasting record of the field’s legacy!
