Submissions deadline: November 2, 2020.
Next May 2021, EDRA52 DETROIT will focus on how research, design, and relationships between people and environments contribute to the creation of justice. Current social, health, environmental, and justice challenges call for collaborative and transdisciplinary efforts to pursue intentional questioning of disciplinary borders and sensitive approaches to framing and addressing pressing contemporary problems through research and practice. At the Environmental Design Research Association, we understand that so many are experiencing uncertainty and stress in our personal and professional lives. The EDRA Board of Directors has decided to provide some certainty about EDRA52 DETROIT and prioritize your safety and well being by transitioning to an all-virtual program. This way, you do not have to consider health risks in participating or be concerned with the sustainability of travel and funds availability. We have received numerous requests and understand plans may change with the transition to virtual-only, and extend the deadline to submit your proposal by November 2nd, 2020. The additional planning time will ensure that the virtual meeting will offer a truly Detroit immersive and interactive experience with speakers, sessions, and networking events. We will miss seeing everyone in-person and will enrich the virtual conference with social events, virtual mobile sessions, and opportunities to network and build community! A revised key dates timeline will be shared in the coming weeks. Please visit http://www.edra.org/edra52 Serve as a peer reviewer in the double-blind peer review process for EDRA52!
