Following the Young Researchers Workshop at the IAPS 2020 Virtual Conference, graduate student Everly Jazi along with co-convenors Ting-Ting Cheng and Ruby Lipson-Smith decided to create the IAPS Early Career Researchers Network, a decision unanimously supported by the IAPS board. The Early Career Researchers Network is a community of young and early career researchers and students who convene from all subfields of people-environment studies to share ideas and grow into a transdisciplinary network supporting research, advising methods, theory, and discussion, and navigating global expanding interests in the topics of IAPS. We hope this community will facilitate and support discussion and symposia among early career professionals in the IAPS community.
A newsletter and web presence for the network will be started in the coming months. For more information, contact Everly Jazi at jazi.1@osu.edu.
