The Children, Youth and Environments (CYE) Network has launched a LinkedIn group (https://www.linkedin.com/groups/26320011) for everyone interested in the network.
Founded in 1996, the CYE Network aims to improve the living conditions of children and young people, recognise their capacity for meaningful participation in the processes that shape their lives, and support the sharing of knowledge between research, practice and policy.
At its meeting during the 2026 IAPS conference in Guildford, the Network discussed future aims and activities, including joint symposia at future conferences. A thematic discussion on gaps and needs in research and implementation led to a shared interest in ethics in research with and for children and young people, which may become a focus of future symposia.
The Network is convened by Märit Jansson (Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, Sweden). The Network would also welcome expressions of interest from members who would like to help develop its activities, including as a potential co-convener.
