🌍 The fifth edition of the Culture & Space Meetings of the International Association for People-Environment Studies IAPS-CS Culture & Space Network is now open, exploring a timely and thought-provoking theme:
✨ “Multiple Ecological Perspectives on Palimpsest Cities in the Anthropocene” ✨
🏛️ Hosted by Özyeğin University, Faculty of Architecture and Design, this international platform has, since 2012, brought together young architects, researchers, academics, and students to engage in interdisciplinary dialogue about the built environment.
🌆 Taking inspiration from layered, dynamic cities such as Istanbul, the programme invites critical reflection on urban complexity, memory, ecology, and spatial practice — all through the lens of the Anthropocene and sustainable futures.
📅 The 2026 programme runs from April to December and features an interconnected sequence of events:
